some fun pictures of the boys...

Well... spring is in full force around these parts! This means wedding season is in full force, so i'm busy busy with my makeup artistry business, my kids are chomping at the bit all the time to go outside, greg is busy working more and more and there just arent enough hours in the day to do everything we all want to do!

I have had some pretty fun jobs this month aside from the weddings (which I do truly love to do!) including a Charter Media/Ford/Nascar commerical and a Heros Among Us story for People Weekly. Fun times!

These pictures were taken this past sunday! We had a family fun day outside in the water. :D Ok, so the boys played in the water and I just took pictures!!!

2 years ago today little gabe-ster was born!

This is just a picture of him at 1 week old... man how time flies!

Recently Gabe joined Jack in the ranks of preschool! He absolutely LOVES it!!! He's the only one in his class who hasnt cried. And his teacher's have nicknamed him Mr. Happy.

In fact, today, when we dropped Jack off at school and gabe was NOT going... he cried. Because he wanted OUT of the car! He said no, i want schoooooool. So he is definitely enjoying himself!

Jack as a ring bearer!

Yep, i'm horrible at keeping this blog updated, i'm aware! This past week the boys and I traveled to Indiana and then to Nebraska for my cousin, Adam's wedding. Jack was the ringbearer and was just so cute! Here are some pictures... I will post some other pictures of our trip shortly!

(He looks buff! Thats because they didnt have a vest his size and we had to make the part around his waist cinched as tight as it would go to fit him, so the top made him look like "a super hero" (according to HIM!)

(notice he is not wearing any socks, it was the only way i could make a deal with him to wear his shoes!)

Spring is Here!

Spring is here, spring is here, it's the best time of the year!

Well it has been BEYOND gorgeous here! Yesterday, i promised the kiddos that we would have a day of fun! We we went out for ice cream and took the (very busy!) park downtown. I decided, beautiful days are not the days for me to take the boys downtown by myself. At least not if we plan to stop and play as both boys would see something they wanted to check out and it was always at the same time and in opposite directions!

Mama about had a heart attack a few times. But all was well and we had LOADS of fun!

I also am slowly trying to take over Greg's camera. :) My little point-n-shoot is fine and takes pictures just fine, but i want to take some WOW pictures. So very slowly i'm learning this thing. One day i'll just bling it out with rhinestones so that he will never want to touch it again! :) BWAHAHAHAHAA!

Ok, evil laughs aside, here are some photos I took...

Now i realize these aren't professional quality by any means, but I'm having a lot of fun learning the camera and hopefully some day, i'll get there! :D

Happy Halloween!

It has been a CRAZY busy week this week!

Last Friday was the Fall Festival at Jack's preschool. It was super cute. Lots of little games to play that they had to pay 1 ticket each time. But no matter what, they got to get a little treat. For some reason jack never went for the candy. Only the random little plastic toys that are now all over my house for my poor feet to step on!

Hard to tell, but he's supposed to look like he's the witch in the picture. He kept going back wanting to take the picture but never never really smiled. But i promise, he wanted to do it!

Then just lots of running around the beginning of the week trying to get stuff done. Wednesday i had a bridal portrait so both the boys went over to my friend Jenn's. Man do i have some good friends! Jenn ALWAYS comes thru and helps me out in a pinch. I think i owe her a few hundred baby sitting duties!

Thursday was jack's halloween party at school. He was excited to put the costume on, but by the time i got there for the party, the dino was no where to be seen. Apparently he told the teachers he was done and took it off himself. Oh well. It is a pretty warm costume so maybe he was just hot. I had gabe dressed in this super cute onesie with a ghost looking face on it. hehe.

we were trying to get jack's attention to be in the picture too. But he was on a pretty big sugar high and there was too much going on!

Then of course today is HALLOWEEN! We had a halloween party this morning with out playgroup. The mom hosting the party does it every year and she always outdoes the year before!

Tonight greg is visiting some buds in Atlanta so the boys and I flew solo for the trick or treating. I think we did pretty well! Gabe was in the sling and my friend Lisa came over with her 2 kiddos. Her son Life is about a year older than Jack so they had a blast running from house to house. Jack doesnt have the full out boy run just yet, especially not in a big costume. So he kind of bopped along and as he did his little booty and tail would wiggle around. It was so hilarious! And now that we are back home jack has a bucketful of candy that i'm trying to slowly hide. He doesnt seem to remember that Mama said 1 piece when he got home and thats it! Now it's 11 and he's still wide awake and raring to go! His early evening nap isnt helping and that coupled with the sugar buzz probably means i'm not going to get to go to bed anytime soon!

We continue our busy-ness into the weekend. once i get some more photos from the parties and what not i'll post them!

The Jackster

Jack was born February 24th, 2006 at 11:44 pm. He weighed 8 lbs 5oz and was 21 inches tall.

This summer Jack started preschool at St Giles and loved it! This fall he's going to St Giles 2 days a week (tuesday and thursday) from 9-12.
This is jacks picture i took his first day back to school this fall. He could barely stand still for the photo! He just couldnt want to get inside to see Ms Jill (his teacher he loves and adores). Photo was taken on Sept 2nd.

This is Jack and I at one of our last "playdates" before baby Gabe came. We went to the zoo and just enjoyed playing together (even if it was super hot and i felt like i was going to pass out!)
